Sourav Ganguly's batting montage features still of Irfan Pathan; latter points it out on Twitter in humorous way

Ahead of his 51st birthday, legendary cricketer Sourav Ganguly posted a nostalgic video of himself in which, he added multiple images of his playing days. Meanwhile, one of the images in the video features Irfan Pathan and not Ganguly, which the left-arm bowling all-rounder later pointed out on Twitter. 

Pathan’s hilarious tweet instantly went viral on social media as he mentioned that he never knew he looked so similar to Ganguly. However, the former pace bowling all-rounder later mentioned that he would accept it as a huge compliment coming from his former skipper.

“Daadi I never knew that we look so similiar while batting that you will get confused;) But Thank you i will take that as a huge compliment,” Irfan wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Ganguly revealed that there’s no special plan this time around for his birthday. Last year, the former India skipper was in England and thus, celebrated in style with his family and friends but this time around, he wants to spend time at his home with his family.

Ganguly added by saying that in the last three months, he had to travel a lot owing to the IPL and the World Test Championship and thus, wants to stay at home at the moment and enjoy his time with family.

“Nothing special. I will be at home with the family. It will be a quiet birthday. Daughter Sana has come here on her holidays, and she will be here till August. So completely a homely birthday this time. I have had a lot of travelling in the last three months, so time to stay at home and celebrate with family,” Ganguly was quoted saying by RevSportz.

Notably, the former cricketer is also expected to announce something spectacular on his birthday. He has shared glimpses of the same on his social media accounts, which has built a lot of excitement among his fans.
