WATCH: Sunrisers Hyderabad unveil new Jersey for IPL 2025 – Fresh look revealed
Sunrisers Hyderabad continues its iconic orange and black theme for the IPL 2025 season.
The thrilling T20 cricket carnival, the Indian Premier League (IPL), is set to begin on March 22. Notably, all 10 teams will be competing for the title one of the teams that impressed the fans last season was the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The team had some entertaining players and reached the finals of the tournament last season.
Though some new players have come into the team, the core remains the same with World Champion skipper Pat Cummins continuing to take the reins as they head into the tournament. The team has recently unveiled its new jersey for the upcoming tournament on social media and the colour scheme and style look great. The jersey has not changed much from last year, as the team continues with the orange and black theme. But the players still looked dapper in the kit showcased in the reel.
The video featured Team India's star wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan, flamboyant upcoming opener Abhishek Sharma, leg spinner Rahul Chahar, and the domestic star, Abhinav Manohar. The reel also had Kendrick Lamar’s hit song ‘DNA’ playing in the background which brought out the style and attitude in the players as they posed with the bat and ball in the Instagram reel. There was a second reel as well which shows Sharma drawing the jersey on a canvas and it ends with the young stars posing once again.

Journey of Sunrisers in IPL
The Sunrisers Hyderabad debuted in the tournament in 2013 after the Deccan Chargers (former Hyderabad-based franchise) were banned and made it to the playoffs in the first season itself. Over the next two seasons, the fans witnessed a disappointing performance by the team, as they finished sixth in the league on both occasions until they finally got their hands on the title in 2016.
After becoming champions the Sunrisers went on to make it to the playoffs for four consecutive years but suddenly saw a decline after 2020, with abysmal seasons from 2021 to 2023. Last season was one of their best, as they reached their third IPL final and they will want to continue performing the same way in the upcoming tournament.
