Suresh Raina reveals hilarious story related to MS Dhoni's wedding, video goes viral

Renowned former India legend and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni shares a close bond with former Indian batter and former teammate, Suresh Raina. The magnitude of their bonhomie can be understood by the fact that both the icons of Indian cricket retired on the same day which left all their fans completely clueless and stunned. Notably, both Raina and Dhoni bid adieu to their international cricket career on August 15, 2020.

While MSD has continued with his IPL career and captaincy, Raina has taken to commentary and other cricket expert-related works at present after he decided to step away from IPL cricket as well. Interestingly enough, a video has stormed into the social media world where Suresh Raina unearthed an interesting story related to MS Dhoni's wedding. Notably, the former India captain got married to Sakshi Singh Rawat in Dehradun, back in 2010.

Recalling a hilarious moment, the former southpaw revealed that Dhoni had called him and asked his whereabouts. Thereafter, he requested him to quietly come down to Dehradun to attend his wedding. To this, Raina duly obliged and accepted Dhoni's invitation and showed up at his wedding. Besides, apart from reaching the venue, the former swashbuckling left-hander also revealed quite hilariously that during Dhoni's wedding, he ended up wearing Thala's attire to attend his wedding.

"Unhone phone kiya, bola, 'kahan ho?' Maine bola, 'hum toh Lucknow mein hai'. 'Phir vo bole 'Keh rahe hai, meri shaadi hai Dehradun mein aaja, silent aana, kisiko batana nahi. Main wait kar raha hu tera, (He had called me and asked me, 'Where are you?'. I said I am in Lucknow. 'I am getting married in Dehradun. Don't tell anyone and come silently, I am waiting for you)," Raina recalled.

"To main normal kapdon mein gaya tha, phir main unki hi shaadi mein, unhi ke kapdey pehne Maine (So, I went wearing my normal clothes and I was at his wedding, wearing his clothes),"  the 37-year-old further continued in the viral video.

MS Dhoni revealed his future plans beyond Cricket in a viral video

Speaking of MS Dhoni's latest plans, the CSK captain was spotted playing pickleball with Rishabh Pant in Dubai. Notably, a few days back IPL auction for the 2024 edition was held in UAE. Thereafter, a video surfaced in the social media world and it went viral. In this video, 'Thala' was asked about his plans beyond his cricket career. In the same vein, the 42-year-old expressed his wishes to serve and stay close to the Indian Army as and when he gets the time away from cricket.

"I have never thought about it. I am still playing cricket. IPL I am still playing. It will be very interesting to see what I end up doing after cricket. I think for sure, I want to spend a bit more time with the Army because last few years I have not been able to do that," Dhoni nonchalantly said in the viral video.
