Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has been shattering record after record for the past few years, riding on his consistent batting performances across formats. He is now eyeing results in captaincy by winning a major tournament and is currently in Australia, leading the Men in Green in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022.

Lately, Babar got a chance to interact with the legendary Indian batter Sunil Gavaskar, who himself used to be a fearless batter during his heydays. The interaction happened a day before the Pakistan captain's birthday. The video of the same was posted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on their official Twitter handle.

In the video, Sunil Gavaskar can be seen interacting with the players and the support staff of the Pakistan team. Apart from Babar, his deputy Shadab Khan was also present there, while the likes of head coach Saqlain Mushtaq and batting coach Mohammad Yousuf also joined.

The 1983 World Cup winner gave some valuable batting tips, supposedly on how to play in tough Australian conditions. What really stood out here was that Babar was seen keenly listening to the legend's advice.

Pakistan begin their T20 World Cup campaign against arch-rivals India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday, October 23. They suffered a six-wicket loss to England at the Gabba in their first warm-up game and would now be hoping to get into the groove in the next game against Afghanistan on Wednesday, October 19.

Babar Azam and his batting partner Mohammad Rizwan were rested for the warm-up fixture against England and both would now be hoping to get some match practice against Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Babar comes into the marquee tournament having recently completed 11000 international runs. He achieved this feat during his match-winning 40-ball 55 against Bangladesh in the T20I tri-series.
