The fact that Roger remembered me was like 'woah': Virat Kohli
Kohli, the king of cricket, has been a big fan of the Swiss legend and has met him on several occasions. In 2019, he was spotted at the Australian Open watching Federer beat Andy Murray. He and his wife Anushka Sharma met the Tennis ace after the match and the player was in awe after the meeting. He revealed that Federer remembered meeting him in the past and that stunned him as a fan.
"He (Federer) told me that he met me in Sydney a couple of years back during an exhibition match and I was like "waoh he remembers me". I can't explain that feeling. I have seen him play since I was a child and he is a great man and a great human being. He kept asking me questions and I could talk to him about mindset. It was a beautiful time spent," Kohli said in 2019.
