Welsh Fire all-rounder Roelof van der Merwe took a brilliant juggling catch to send Birmingham Phoenix skipper Moeen Ali (17) to the pavilion in Match 14 of The Hundred Men's competition on August 10 at the Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham.

Left-arm pacer David Payne delivered a good length ball that angled into Ali, who swung one across the line. Merwe ran forward as the ball flew straight up in the air towards long-on. Initially, the all-rounder appeared to have completed the catch until it jumped out of his fingers and bounced off his chest. However, he then completed a magnificent one-handed catch on the second attempt.

The Hundred took its official X account and shared the video and captioned the post, "Not a conventional way to take a catch, but Roelof van der Merwe and Welsh Fire won't mind!"
