'They surely have me hooked' - Gurpreet Singh Sandhu lauds Jatin Sapru and Irfan Pathan's Hindi commentary

Indian cricket team produced a stellar all-round display against Zimbabwe to grab a big and crucial win in their last T20 World Cup 2022 group-stage fixture on Sunday (November 6). India's qualification for the semi-final round got confirmed with South Africa's shocking loss in the morning game and a win confirmed their place at the top of the Super 12 Group 2 table.

Once again, fans were fully entertained as India posted a big 186/5 total while batting first at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Suryakumar Yadav smashed an unbeaten 61 runs off just 25 balls with the help of four big sixes to keep the fans on their heels. Then the bowlers put in impressive spells to bowl out Zimbabwe's innings on just 115 to record a big 71-run win.

With many fans enjoying India's performance at MCG, others were impressed with entertaining commentary by Irfan Pathan and Jatin Sapru on Star Sports. Irfan has been a big name when it comes to Hindi commentary and is recently joined from Jatin. Irfan always entertained Indian fans with his bowling spells and now keeps the flow with his smooth and accute Hindi commentary.

The star Indian footballer Gurpreet Singh Sandhu took to Twitter to thank Jatin and Irfan for their commentary during the Zimbabwe-India game. Indian football team's number one goalkeeper stated that the duo's hindi commentary got him hooked during the game.

"Enjoying @jatinsapru and @irfanPathan on the microphone as much as I am, India's performance on the pitch today. They're positive and entertaining and for someone who has tuned into Hindi commentary after ages, they surely have me hooked. #INDvZIM #T20WorldCup," Gurpreet wrote in his Tweet. Irfan was quick to thank Gurpreet's Tweet by saying that he loves his job. "Thank you so much Gurpreet. Love my job," Irafan replied.
