India made their way into the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final with a four-wicket win over Australia in the first semi-final on Tuesday, March 04. The ultimate clash will now be held in Dubai at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, March 09 where the Men in Blue will be up against the winner from the second semi-final between South Africa and New Zealand.

India have always had a huge support from spectators wherever they play, and naturally, the demand for tickets for the Champions Trophy final took no time to skyrocket after India's qualification to the Sunday encounter was confirmed. The opponent for the Rohit Sharma-led side, although unconfirmed, doesn't seem to have any effect, as the fans have already started flooding onto the ticket booking platforms online in order to buy the tickets.

Senior journalist Amol Karhadkar shared a picture on X (formerly known as Twitter), where he attached a screenshot of the ticket demand. More than 14,000 people can already be seen in a virtual queue, while the estimated time of wait before actually landing onto the booking page showed more than an hour.

Ticket resale platform Viagogo has already made the tickets available on the platform, where the users who got their hands onto the tickets are selling them for as high as a whopping INR 6 lakh. Even at such high prices, the tickets are on the verge of being sold out.

India have been the team to beat in the eight-team tournament so far, as they have been unassailed in all of their games. They beat Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand in the Group A clashes before finally pelting down the Aussies in the penultimate clash on Tuesday.

Speaking of the second semi-final, Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium will be hosting the Proteas and the BlackCaps in a thrilling encounter on March 05, as the two teams will give it their all to earn a coveted place in the finale showdown against India. The winner from this game will travel to Dubai to face Rohit & Co., whereas, the loser will go home disappointed.
