'Time travel is possible' - Fans react after video of 'MS Dhoni from 2040' goes viral

MS Dhoni's cricketing career is nearing an end, but his cult status among fans continues to escalate with each passing day. Dhoni, who is captaining Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing IPL 2023, continues to spread his charm with his efforts behind the stumps and master plan. Videos of the former India skipper's excellence on and off the pitch continue to circulate over social media.

The ongoing edition of the IPL witnessed many spectacular moments so far. Now, a new clip from an IPL match has grabbed the attention of many cricket fans across the world. The viral video of 'MS Dhoni' stunned many people, despite the fact that it does not include the CSK skipper, but rather 'MS Dhoni from 2040.' 

An Instagram user shared a clip from CSK's clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS), at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, on April 30. The video featured a senior citizen who resembled Dhoni at that age.

CSK will host DC on Wednesday in the ongoing IPL 2023

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) in their upcoming fixture in the IPL 2023. The match will be contested at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, on Wednesday, May 10. The four-time IPL champions are currently placed in the second spot in the IPL 2023 points table with 13 points after winning six of their 11 games. DC, on the other hand, have had a dismal season so far and are currently eighth in the standings.

Both Chennai and Delhi are coming off with wins in their previous fixtures. CSK defeated the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in the second fixture between them in Chennai on May 6. Meanwhile, on the same day, Delhi defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their last match, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, in Delhi.
