Destructive Australian batter Travis Head and his wife Jessica Davies have been blessed with their second child, a baby boy who they have named Harrison George Head. Jessica took to her Instagram account to announce the news and shared some adorable pictures of the newborn.

The couple became parents for the first time in September 2022 when Jessica gave birth to daughter, Mila Paige Head, who is two years old now. After getting engaged in March 2021, Travis tied the knot with Jessica on April 15, 2023, in an intimate ceremony in Adelaide.

"Welcome to the world Harrison George Head," the elated parents wrote in the caption with the Instagram post.

The couple shared several photos, where they can be seen holding their two children. The photo of little Mila holding her brother in her arms makes for a heartwarming visual.

Travis Head's record in Tests versus India

Head took a short breather from Australia's busy cricket calendar to be with his wife for the arrival of their second child. He opted out of the ongoing three-match ODI series against Pakistan at home but is expected to return to action during the highly-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, which begins with the first Test at the Optus Stadium in Perth on November 22.

Head has been dominating the two white-ball formats of the game this year but he hasn't lived up to his potential in the Test arena. In eight innings, the southpaw is averaging a dismal 24.75. However, he has an excellent record in the red-ball format against India and he could look to turn things around with the bat against the Rohit Sharma-led side in the coming months.

In 18 innings versus India in the longest format of the game, Head has amassed 715 runs at an average of 42.05. The 30-year-old has notched up three half-centuries and a solitary ton against the Asian giants. His highest score against India came in the World Test Championship (WTC) final last year when he slammed a 174-ball 163 at The Oval in London.
