The 43rd game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 featured a thrilling clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Ekana Sports City Stadium in Lucknow on Monday, May 1. Despite Bangalore’s thrilling win in the game, the heated altercation between Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir, and Naveen-ul-Haq has been the talk of the town for quite some time now.

With the BCCI imposing heavy fines on all three individuals involved, it seems like the drama still hasn’t settled. Recently, Naveen-ul-Haq took to Instagram to post a picture with Lucknow mentor Gautam Gambhir, who was involved in the spat too.

He captioned the post, "Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to."

Furthermore, Gambhir interacted with the post as well. The former Indian batter commented, " Be who you are!! ‘Never change’."

Lucknow Super Giants take on Gujarat Titans in their next game

For Lucknow’s next assignment, the team will travel to Ahmedabad as they take on the defending champions Gujarat Titans in match 51 of the IPL 2023 on Sunday, May 7. It is to be noted that the side would be without the services of regular skipper KL Rahul, who recently sustained an injury. Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya would be expected to lead the team against Gujarat.

Currently, Lucknow find themselves in third place in the IPL points table with 11 points in 10 matches played. They would be keen on winning the clash against Gujarat to stay in the race for playoff qualification. The side played their last game against the four-time champions Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday, May 3.

Batting first, Lucknow put in a subpar performance in the first innings, having scored 125 runs with the loss of seven wickets against Chennai. Rain disrupted the proceedings in the last over of the first innings, and the match was eventually called off with both sides sharing a point.
