In the fifth and final T20I clash between India Women (IND-W) and Bangladesh Women (BAN W) at Sylhet, visitors India emerged victorious by 21 runs. Opting to bat first, India Women put up a formidable total of 156/5 in their allotted 20 overs.
Shafali Verma got them off to a decent start with 14 runs before falling to Fariha Trisna. Smriti Mandhana's 33 and Dayalan Hemalatha's 37 provided the backbone of the innings, supported by skipper Harmanpreet Kaur's 30. Richa Ghosh's unbeaten 28 off 17 balls gave India's innings a late flourish. For Bangladesh, Nahida Akter and Rabeya Khan picked up two wickets each.
Chasing 157 for victory, Bangladesh Women struggled to build partnerships and fell short, managing 135/6 in their 20 overs. Ritu Moni was the standout performer for Bangladesh with a fighting 37 off 33 balls. Rubya Haider contributed 20, but the rest of the batting lineup failed to convert starts into significant scores.

I just wanted to bowl wicket to wicket: Radha Yadav
Radha Yadav, awarded Player of the Match and Player of the Series, expressed her satisfaction with her performance, stating her focus on bowling wicket to wicket. She credited her improvement to consistent practice, highlighting the beneficial impact of the Women's Premier League (WPL) on all players, including those from Bangladesh.
"I just wanted to bowl wicket to wicket. I have been working on it. WPL is helping all the girls. It has helped us and even a few Bangladeshi players," Yadav said during the post-match presentation.
