UP T20 League 2024: Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon to perform in opening ceremony
Apart from Ayushmann, Bollywood actress, Jhanvi Kapoor and rapper Badshah will also grace the opening ceremony.

The second edition of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League will get underway from August 25 at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. For the opening ceremony of the league Bollywood stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon are set to enthrall the spectators with his performance ahead of the tournament opener. The event is dubbed as ‘Maha Sangram ka Maha Jashn’, as the actor announced the same via an Instagram post.
Ekana Stadium will host all the matches of the league from August 25 to September 14. Former India cricketer Suresh Raina, who hails from UP, is named as the brand ambassador of the tournament. The league stage will see 31 matches being played with the Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 scheduled to be played on September 11 and 12, respectively.

A total of 6 teams will vie for glory in the state-based league and the first game will see Kashi Rudras facing off against Meerut Mavericks. Apart from Ayushmann, Bollywood actress, Jhanvi Kapoor and rapper Badshah will also grace the opening ceremony. The league will be inaugurated by, Vice President of the BCCI and Director of UPCA, Rajiv Shukla.
