Varun Chakravarthy visited an architectural site in Chennai on Saturday, April 6. He posted a few pictures from the structural masterpiece on Instagram. The post featured the mystery spinner donning the customary white-coloured hat, a pocket-sized diary, and a small notepad in his hand.

Chakravarthy chose a crafty caption for his post, calling the site his "OG playground". For the unversed, Chakravarthy has previously worked as an architect for two years before he dived into cricket on a full-time basis.

In an old interview with Kolkata Knight Riders, the mystery spinner had revealed that he had completed his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Kattankulathur branch of SRM University. He had elaborated on how he integrated cricket into his final-year project back in the day.

"I studied in SRM College, Kattankulathur. I did architecture - it's a five-year professional course. It was a completely different world. It's all about computers, T-scales, Drawing, Chart Papers and all those things. I never used to even see matches, (but) I always had that love (for cricket)," Chakravarthy had said.

"Somewhere in my concept of any design in a building, I used to bring cricket in it. Architecture is all about lines and angles. Even bowling is all about lines, lengths, angles of what you are bowling. So somewhere, I was able to connect it. Even my fifth-year thesis was a Cricket Stadium!."
