Kiran Navgire came out all guns blazing in Match 6 of the Women's Premier League (WPL 2025) match between UP Warriorz Women (UP-W) and Delhi Capitals Women (DC-W), at the Kotambi Stadium, in Vadodara. Being sent in to bat first, the first three overs yielded 37 runs. Jess Jonassen was greeted to the crease by a commanding Navgire.
On being given the strike by her opening partner, she stepped out to a delivery floated outside off stump to hammer the ball straight down the ground. The next delivery was exquisitely stroked over cover via an inside-out special; the ball travelling for a one-bounce boundary.
Courtesy of Navgire's flamboyant strokeplay, UP-W attained their highest powerplay score in the WPL (66/1). Navgire departed for a 27-ball 51-run knock on the first delivery of the eighth over. A leading edge off a short ball was taken safely at deep fine leg.

Rapidfire blitz by Henry motors Warriorz to set 167-run target
Tahlia McGrath and Deepti Sharma were dismissed shortly after Navgire headed back to the pavilion. Shweta Sehrawat's 37 steadied the ship, but it was Chinelle Henry's cameo which made a defining impact at the end.

As for DC-W, Annabel Sutherland was the pick of the bowlers. The Australian all-rounder ended up with figures of 2/26 in her four-over quota. Shikha Pandey proved to be quite expensive in her three overs. She was carted by the Warriorz' batting unit for 43 runs in her three overs.
