Video of the Day - Women's Premier League 2025: Bharti Fulmali catches Raghvi Bist short moment after blooper
Bist was her side's fourth batter to get dismissed in what was a lackluster performance from the home side.
The dismissal of Raghvi Bist during Match 12 of the ongoing Women's Premier League game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Giants Women was far from an ordinary dismissal. She headed back to the pavilion after getting dismissed courtesy of a direct hit at the bowler's end.
However, it was the moment preceding Bharti Fulmali's throw that made the entire sequence unique. A miscued shot to cover was expected to be gobbled up by Gujarat's skipper, Ashleigh Gardner. However, the Australian all-rounder made a meal of it, probably due to the sky or lights. Fulmali was quick to react to the dropped catch as she made her way from mid-off to execute a brilliant throw to the stumps.

Bist had just got going with a maximum off the previous Meghna Singh delivery. She departed for a 19-ball 22-run knock and was the fourth wicket to fall for RCB-W. They ended up getting restricted to 125/7 at the end of 20 overs in what was a severely underwhelming performance by the hosts.
Kanika Ahuja ended up as Bengaluru's highest run-getter with 33 to her name. It was a true bowling masterclass from GJ-W, who were clinical with their line & length throughout the evening. Tanuja Kanwar ended up conceding only 16 runs in her four-over quota.

Kanwar and Deandra Dottin picked up a couple of wickets each. Ashleigh Gardner and Kashvee Gautam ended up picking one apiece, conceding 22 and 17 runs, respectively, in their four overs. RCB-W would be keen on turning things around in the second innings to not suffer their third defeat on the trot.
