In the ongoing Women's Premier League match 13, Mumbai Indians women (MI-W) are facing Delhi Capitals women (DC-W). MI-W have set a target of 123 for the opponents to chase down in 20 overs.

In the 16.2 over of Minnu’s spell, Amelia Kerr stepped up to face the challenge, looking to find the boundary after a few tight overs. With the ball pitched up, Kerr went for an aggressive shot, attempting to flick it to the leg side. It looked like it might sail just over the infield, but fate had other plans. As the ball sailed toward the boundary, Annabel Sutherland, positioned in the deep, had no hesitation in charging forward, fully aware that she had to cover a lot of ground to make the catch.

In a breathtaking moment, Sutherland launched herself into the air, diving full stretch to her right, and with immaculate timing, she grasped the ball just inches off the ground. The crowd erupted as the ball was safely secured in her outstretched hands, and Kerr was sent packing. It was a stunner, one of those catches that stays etched in memory, showcasing Sutherland’s incredible athleticism and reflexes. The moment not only provided a crucial breakthrough for her team but also firmly placed that catch in the running for the catch of the season.
