Star Indian batter Virat Kohli was spotted enjoying a dinner date with his wife Anushka Sharma and friends in Mumbai recently. The couple are spending quality time together before Kohli departs to join the Indian squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA and West Indies.

Kohli has been in blistering form in the recently concluded IPL 2024, emerging as the leading run-scorer and guiding his team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), to the playoffs. With the T20 World Cup around the corner, the modern-day great took a brief break from his cricketing commitments to spend some time with his loved ones. As per reports, Kohli will be taking his flight for the USA on May 30.

Anushka and Virat turned heads as they stepped out for an intimate dinner at a popular eatery in Bandra, Mumbai. The power couple was joined by former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan, his wife Sagarika Ghatge, and actor-cricket presenter Gaurav Kapur. Videos of the group exiting the restaurant quickly went viral, with Anushka wearing a chic white shirt and denim, perfectly complemented by Virat's casual attire.

Meanwhile, the actress continues to be her husband's biggest cheerleader as she was spotted supporting RCB from the stands during the cash-rich league. This was her first public appearance after the birth of their second child, Akaay Kohli.

The cricketer will be leaving for the World Cup to join the other members of the team who arrived in New York earlier this week and have started preparations for the marquee event.

However, since her previous big-screen appearance in "Zero" four years ago, Anushka hasn't been seen. She is now preparing for "Chakda Xpress," a highly anticipated biopic that depicts the life of famous cricketer Jhulan Goswami.

There is a high possibility that Anushka also might travel to the USA and Caribbean to support Team India, as the Men in Blue are gearing up to lift their second ICC T20 World Cup trophy. India hasn't lifted an ICC trophy since the 2013 Champions Trophy in England.
