Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and Rohit Sharma are three of the most revered Indian cricketers of all time. Over the years, they have established their legacy by scoring important runs for India and also guiding the Men in Blue to famous wins as captains. Fans adore them not just because of their on-field contributions but also because of the way they carry themselves off the field.
According to the latest survey, Kohli has been placed at No. 3 on the list of most talked about Indian accounts on 'X' (previously known as Twitter). The former India captain is only behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi and famous actor Vijay. Meanwhile, the current India captain in Tests and ODIs, Rohit Sharma finds himself at No. 8. The legendary Dhoni retired from international cricket more than four years ago and is very rarely active on social media. However, that hasn't stopped the fans from talking about him as he is positioned at No. 9.

What's next for the three stalwarts of Indian cricket?
The IPL (Indian Premier League) Governing Council recently announced the retention rules ahead of the mega auction. One of the major changes was the reintroduction of the uncapped Players rule. This rule allows any Indian player to be marked as an uncapped player if he hasn’t played international cricket in the preceding five years from the year of the next season. Hence, Dhoni, who played his last international match in July 2019, will be able to play for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2024 without taking too much off the franchise's purse.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has flown back to London to spend time with his family after featuring in India's 2-0 Test series win against Bangladesh at home. The Delhi batter will return to India soon as he is expected to play a key role in the upcoming three-match Test series against New Zealand, which gets underway on October 16. Rohit will be leading the team and he would want to register some big scores after having a quiet series with the bat against Bangladesh.
