Intense Test cricket action has been soaring high with the hosts Australia taking on India in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT 2024-25). After three Tests and some see-saw battles, the series currently is levelled at 1-1. Now the focus shifts to the grand Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) where the “Boxing Day” special game will be played. Notably, the game will kick kickoff on December 26.
Meanwhile, Team India after making a winning start in Perth, failed to win the pink ball fixture and then rain god helped in getting the Brisbane draw. Amid several batting issues in the Indian side, the former Captain and star batter, Virat Kohli, also looked out of colour after a comeback century in Perth.
However, like every player tries to do something different away from the field apart from regular practice sessions, some rely on a vacation or sightseeing activities while some try to explore local culture and cuisine. But Kohli had other ideas as he met the celebrity hairstylist, Jordan Tabakman, in Australia to don a new hairdo ahead of the fourth Test.
On Friday, December 20, the Delhi-based batter was spotted meeting the celebrity hair expert as Tabakman released some videos of the hair-cutting session with Kohli for his avid fans. Interestingly, this was not the first time that the Indian batting stalwart took the services of the renowned hairstylist. During the T20 World Cup in 2022, Kohli met Jordan Tabakman. Besides, he is not the only Indian cricketer who enjoys a hair regime with the Australian. Apart from him, star players like Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya too have availed the services of Tabakman in the past.

Kohli wanted privacy from getting filmed by Media at airport
Meanwhile, ahead of reaching team India's accommodation arrangements, Virat Kohli was surrounded and heckled by the media to some extent which stirred a controversy. After landing in Melbourne, Kohli was seen getting annoyed by a TV journalist at the airport. It was revealed that the 36-year-old was seemingly not happy with the way cameras were panned at his kids.

Notably, the incident took place on Thursday. Furthermore, it was unearthed that Kohli thought that the camera crew were shooting him along with his kids while the 7 News. However, the media organization in question refuted the claims.

“It was upon seeing the waiting cameras that Kohli became a little heated over what is largely a misunderstanding when he thought the media was filming him with his children," a reporter was quoted as saying by 7 News.
For the uninitiated, Virat Kohli requested privacy with his kids and darted back at the media crew by asking them not to film him with family members.
“With my kids, I need some privacy, you can’t film without asking me," Kohli said in the viral post.
