Indian cricket team ended the year 2022 with mixed emotions as they won their last Test series of the year against Bangladesh after losing the ODIs. India's outings in big tournaments were below average as they failed to reach the finals of the Asia Cup 2022 and T20 World Cup 2022. However, Virat Kohli's return to form was a big positive for the Indian team and they are likely to build up their campaign well for the ODI World Cup 2023.

Virat Kohli posted a photo on Instagram while enjoying a sunrise with his wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika with a caption, "To the last sunrise of 2022." Both Virat and Anushka are seen standing on the poolside with Vamika in the cricketer's arm.

A few days ago, a couple also visited a few temples in Dehradun, Uttarakhand but restrained from posting pictures. Earlier this month, Kohli shared a similar picture with his wife under the skies, celebrating their five-year marriage anniversary. "5 years on a journey for eternity. How blessed I am to find you, I love you with all my heart," Kohli wrote in his Instagram post on December 11.

Anushka Sharma was last seen on the big screen in the movie Zero, starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Her next project, Chakda Xpress, is based on the life and achievements of legendary Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami and her cricket journey and is expected to hit the cinemas soon.

Kohli ended 2022 on a positive note with two centuries in the year as he ended his drought which started after November 2019. But his numbers in Tests and ODIs were below average throughout the year. Kohli will be missing the upcoming T20I home series against Sri Lanka starting on January 3 after being given rest by the management but will return to pitch for the ODI series starting on January 10.
