Wasim Akram trolled Australian commentators during the recently concluded three-match Test series between Australia and Pakistan, which the visitors lost 0-3. The former Pakistan cricketer was a part of the commentary panel throughout the series.
Meanwhile, in a video doing rounds on social media, Akram could be seen engaging in a humorous exchange with Australian commentators. The former cricketer hilariously trolled his counterparts for their incorrect pronunciation of the word "Fakhar". The legendary Pakistan cricketer can be heard saying, “There’s another name you guys mess up as well. Try to pronounce Fakhar.”
He also discussed an incident with his wife Shaniera and said, "So Shaniera came to Pakistan and my son’s friend’s name was Fakhar. He brought his friend who was about 12-year-old and he said, ‘this is my friend, Fakhar’. She said, ‘hang on a minute’. Because Australians can’t pronounce K in their language, it took her about two years to pronounce his name." Meanwhile, the commentators from Australia, including Akram, further mentioned an incident when Mark Waugh was not able to pronounce 'Fakhar Zaman' on stage.
