Legendary India batter Wasim Jaffer has hilariously given the pitch report of the Moon after the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on Wednesday, August 23. Chandrayaan-3 is the third Indian lunar exploration mission under the Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) Chandrayaan program.

India became the first country to have landed on the South Pole of the Moon. Furthermore, India is the fourth country in history to have done a soft landing on the Moon after the United States, Soviet Union, and China.

After Chandrayaan-3's landing, ISRO shared the image captured by the Landing Imager Camera. Sharing the image on his X account, the former cricketer compared photos with a pitch and predicted his bowling lineup for the surface. The 45-year-old stated that the Moon is a batting surface and he would go with three spinners along with one genuine seamer and an all-rounder.

"Definitely a bat first surface. I'd go with 3 spinners, one genuine seamer along with an all-rounder," Jaffer captioned the post.
