India skipper Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar announced the team's squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in a press conference on January 18, 2025, at the Wankhede Stadium.

The prestigious tournament is set to make a comeback after eight years, with the 2025 edition set to take place in Pakistan and UAE. Given the political and security considerations, India’s matches will be hosted in Dubai. The tournament is slated to begin on February 19, with India opening their campaign against Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, one moment caught the attention of the viewers when Rohit was heard saying that the press conference was "boring".

Bahut boring tha yaar press conference (The press conference was very boring),” Rohit was heard on the mic towards the fag end of the meet with the media.

This isn’t the first time the opener has shown his carefree nature during public interactions. Known for his laid-back attitude, the Indian skipper has a knack for turning moments into memorable ones.
