On Tuesday, legendary Australian opener David Warner was spotted in Melbourne with a glaring white shirt and golden gun. The 37-year-old batter, known for his explosive performances on the pitch, seems to step into the entertainment industry.
Warner recently bid farewell to international cricket and participated in an unusual film shoot along the picturesque Yarra River. The scene being shot was nothing short of a Hollywood blockbuster, complete with a flashy red helicopter, some machine-gun carrying ‘heavies’ on the wharf, and Warner channelling his inner James Bond.
The cricketer was looking like a striking figure as he walked in a swag in his white pants, sucking on a large lollipop similar to the iconic 1970s TV detective, Kojak. But the real showstopper was when Warner whipped out a golden gun.

David Warner was the highest run-scorer in MAX60 2024
This would not be Warner's first foray into the glitzy world of Indian cinema. Earlier this year, he made his Telugu film debut alongside acclaimed director SS Rajamouli in a viral advertisement for a fintech company.
In the ad, Warner was seen playfully negotiating match ticket discounts with Rajamouli and even imagining himself as the hero in a quintessential period drama "Bahubali". This latest Melbourne shoot seems to be another step in Warner's showbiz career.
