Star India batter Virat Kohli made his much-awaited comeback into the T20I side of Team India after a long haul of 14 months. Notably, Kohli had missed out on playing the opening match of the T20I series due to personal reasons. The veteran batter showed his class yet again as he played a quick knock, contributing to a winning cause against Afghanistan in Indore. The crowd too chimed in with all the zeal and cheered for him whenever he had his moments in the game.
However, during Team India's bowling, an incident happened involving Virat Kohli. While he was fielding and the game was on, a fan encashed on a daring opportunity to barge into the field to meet his idol. At that point, Virat Kohli was fielding near the boundary area. The fan hugged Kohli with sheer passion and the Delhi-based batting maestro duly obliged by returning the favour. Notably, the heartwarming incident took place during the 18th over of Team India's bowling.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli continued his rich vein of form in limited-over cricket during the 2nd T20I of the series, as he smacked 29 runs off just 15 deliveries. During his fiery knock, he smashed five boundaries before his innings got cut short after he mistimed his short resulting in him getting caught in the mid-off region by Ibrahim Zadran. It is worth mentioning that the 35-year-old maintained an impeccable strike rate of 181.25 while occupying the crease in Indore.

Fan gets nabbed by Indore police for invading field during 2nd T20I game
Meanwhile, the said fan was held by police for threatening law and security in the public interest and also a possible threat to Virat Kohli as well. A police officer gave inputs after some investigation on the matter and revealed that the fan who had rammed into the field had climbed over the fence through the spectator's area with the intention of meeting Kohli. While the interrogation was still on, the Tukoganj police confirmed that the young fan had a valid ticket to the match in his possession.
Besides, the police also revealed that the fan was an avid fan of Virat Kohli and had dashed into the field of the renowned Holkar stadium through the gate named after the former India cricketer, Narendra Hirwani.
