Ahead of the game, Harmanpreet Kaur and her subordinates were seen offering prayers at the famous Tirupati Balaji Temple in Andhra Pradesh.
The India captain was accompanied by Shafali Verma, Pooja Vastrakar and Renuka Singh. Talking about Shafali, the India opener notched up a double ton in the first innings of the one-off Test and became only the second Indian to do so after Mithali Raj. Meanwhile, Deepti Sharma was also spotted along with other players.

India outclass South Africa at Chepauk

In response, South Africa were bowled out for 266, courtesy, of Sneh Rana's eight-wicket haul.

After India enforced a follow-on, the visitors managed just 373 runs on the back of Laura Wolvaardt's 122, and Sune Luus’ 109 and provided the hosts a paltry target of 37 runs. The Indian openers made sure they did not give any positive aspect for the Proteas to cheer and chased down the target without losing any wickets. Sneh Rana was termed the Player of the Match for her splendid 10 wickets, combined in both innings.
