After the end of T20I series against England, India captain Suryakumar Yadav is back in the domestic circuit. The T20I maverick is going through a lean patch with the bat and his performance against England was underwhelming. He scored just 28 runs across five innings and his form has become a point of concern for the team, although the top order is firing in the shortest format of the game.
It is worth noting that, he was part of Indian team in World Cup 2023 and did not come up with a memorable innings. He was sidelined from Champions Trophy 2025 prospects and the batter had recently opened up on his desire to don whites for the nation. Coming to his innings against Haryana, he was cleaned by an in-swinging delivery by Sumit Kumar and departed, scoring just nine runs.
