With the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 in full flow, the Indian team was all set to take on the Prime Minister’s XI after the first Test of the series. Both sides were set to lock horns in Canberra from Saturday, November 30. As India and the PM’s XI looked set for Day 1, the day was washed out due to rain.
However, some clips from Day 1 have instantly gone viral where the Indian team stars like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were seen walking in the rain as it drizzled around them.
After Day 1 of the clash was washed, it was reported that the game will take place on Day 2, and it was expected to be a 50-over game between both sides as they prepare for the second Test in Adelaide.
Was shocked to see the arrangements—security staff got umbrellas, but absolutely no cover for Indian players. Lucky no one slipped, but it was definitely risky! 🤦♂️ #INDvsAUS #AUSvsIND #INDvAUS #AUSvIND #BGT #BGT2024 https://t.co/A81E3CQdhS

India look to keep up form with second Test approaching
The Indian team put in an exceptional performance in the first Test of the ongoing BGT 2024-25. Both sides locked horns in Perth where after a shaky start, the visitors managed to register a mammoth 295-run victory against the Aussies. Australia looked to be in the driver’s seat after they bundled India out for 150 runs in the first innings.
However, the hosts were limited to a score of 104 runs in the first innings after India put in a brilliant showing with the ball. After a mammoth win in Perth, the Indian team will gear up for the clash in Adelaide.
Australia and India will lock horns in the second Test at the Adelaide Oval from December 6. It is worth noting that India will have the services of Rohit Sharma in the second Test as he missed the first clash due to the birth of his second child.
