[WATCH] IPL 2025: Hardik Pandya calls back fan after security pulls him away, obliges him with autograph

Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Hardik Pandya made a heartwarming gesture for a fan at Hyderabad airport. The fan was waiting for him to get an autograph on a jersey. He ran towards Pandya as soon as he saw him and touched his feet, but was pulled away by the security personnel.

A video went viral on social media, where Hardik stopped the security guards and called the fan back to give him an autograph. Ahead of the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Hardik's big gesture has won the hearts of many fans. Well, this isn't the first time the captain has done something for his fans though.

The MI team has reached Hyderabad to play the 42nd match of the IPL 2025. The Mumbai-based franchise has made a solid comeback in the tournament with three back-to-back wins. The players have started taking responsibilities which has helped them win the match. Even against CSK in the previous match, MI had a convincing win, getting a step closer to the playoffs.

On the other hand, SRH are having a tough time in the tournament. After an outstanding start, they have failed to carry forward the momentum. The team has just won two of seven matches and are in a do-or-die situation. All the matches from here are crucial for the team, and losing in any of them can cost them the playoff berth. The Hyderabad-based franchise has a good, balanced team, but the batters have failed to score runs in the powerplays. They still have a few chances left to try and get back into the game.
