[WATCH] IPL 2025: Ishan Kishan reunites Nita Ambani, gets heartwarming pat on cheek

Mumbai Indians (MI) secured a splendid victory by four wickets over the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 33rd match of the IPL 2025. After the match, MI owner Nita Ambani was spotted having a conversation with Ishan Kishan, who was with the Mumbai-based franchise for seven seasons before being released ahead of the 2025 edition of the tournament.

Notably, Sunrisers Hyderabad grabbed him for INR 11 crores in the November mega auction and the suothpaw started off the tournament with a century against Rajasthan Royals in his team's very first game this season. However, he has failed to carry forward the momentum and has scores of 0, 2, 2, 17, 9*, 2.

Kishan's return to the Wankhede Stadium also did not change his fate as he was stumped for just two runs against his former team  After the game, Nita Ambani reunited with the player while the others were shaking hands. She gently patted Kishan's cheek, and both were looked quite happy seeing each other.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians won their third game of the season and seem back in form. So far in seven games, they have won three and have six points to their name. They have seven matches remaining, and the team will have to win at least five more to book their spot in the playoffs without depending on other results.

Will Jacks was the star of the show against SRH as he shone with an all-round performance. MI captain Hardik Pandya made a brilliant tactical move as he brought in Jacks to bowl after the powerplay ended after one of his main spinners, Karn Sharma, was injured and had to leave the field. Jacks two wickets in three overs and conceded just 14 runs as the hosts restricted the opponents to a 162.

When the home team came in to bat, openers gave a brilliant start, which was later capitalised upon by the middle-order batters. Jacks was the Player of the Match for his all-around performance in the match. He claimed two wickets and scored 36 runs.
