Superstar MS Dhoni arrived in style at the crease to finish off the thriller CSK vs MI encounter during Match No. 3 of the IPL 2025 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The crowd at Chepauk was filled with ecstasy as Dhoni made his way onto the crease to be there for the winning runs. As soon as the sixth wicket fell in the form of Ravindra Jadeja, the fans at the stadium as well as worldwide assumed Dhoni would be making his way, sending the fraternity into frenzy.

Well, Dhoni did not disappoint at all, and made a splendid entrance, defining the aura he carries from the global fandom he enjoys. The wicketkeeper-batter played only a couple of balls, though, not able to score a single run in his unbeaten stay at the crease. The video of Dhoni's entrance went viral on social media, making the netizens go gaga over the Ranchi-born.

Rachin Ravindra hit the winning runs, as a huge hit over the deep mid-wicket region crossed the finishing line for CSK in their opening match of the season. Dhoni, as a result, could not finish off the game in his merry way, which may have given some sort of disappointment to his fans. CSK fans were happy, nonetheless, since their team got up and running in IPL 2025 with two crucial points against the rival Mumbai Indians.

CSK's win took them to the third spot on the points table, after they marked the commencement of the IPL 2025 on a winning note. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad was also delighted after the win, and rightly so, since the CSK captain would want to make a strong comeback after a debacle in the previous edition, where the franchise failed to qualify for the playoffs.
