Ryan Rickelton whacked a quicker delivery from Ravi Bishnoi over the latter's head during the ongoing game between Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, April 27. This was Rickelton's second six of the game.

The aggressive left-handed batter planted his front foot forward, before going through with the shot. The 91 kph googly was dispatched with disdain over the leg spinner's head for a thunderous maximum. What made the shot special was that it was essentially played off one leg.

Rickelton departed for 58 (32) after failing to go through with a pre-meditated shot over the off side. The googly from Digvesh Rathi got a bit of overspin to it. All that the South African top-order batter could manage to do was spooning a simple opportunity to Ayush Badoni at point. Rickelton was MI's second wicket to fall.

Earlier in the afternoon, LSG won the toss and opted to field first. They made a single change to their XI by bringing in Mayank Yadav in place of Shardul Thakur. As for the hosts, they made a couple of changes to their XI. Karn Sharma and Corbin Bosch came in for Mitchell Santner and Vignesh Puthur.

MI lost the reverse fixture by 12 runs as they failed to chase the 204-run target set by the hosts to script a memorable win over the joint-most successful franchise. The opening batters in the form of Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram and Digvesh Rathi in the bowling unit were the standout performers for LSG.
