Rajasthan Royals (RR) were off to a great start in the sixth game of the IPL 2025 against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), courtesy of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson. However, Vaibhav Arora drew the first blood for KKR, dismantling Samson's stumps in the fifth ball of the fourth over. It was an interesting delivery as the ball was full and angling towards the stumps.
Samson came forward and thought of hitting the ball but failed to connect it and had to return back to the pavilion with just 13 runs to his name. He was having a good time in the middle after hitting two boundaries. Arora bowled a fullish delivery, to which the RR batter came down the ground, but failed to get a bat onto the ball, eventually getting his stumps rattled, as KKR enjoyed their first wicket.

On the other hand, Jaiswal has held his calm and playing responsibly as of writing. Captain Riyan Parag joined the party and hit two beautiful sixes, leaving the audience in awe.
Sunil Narine misses out for KKR
The game started with the KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane winning the toss and choosing to field first. Despite having the spin factor at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati, KKR had to drop one of their best players, Sunil Narine. But keeping the pitch conditions in mind, RR captain Riyan Parag brought in Wanindu Hasaranga for the game.

The due factor will trouble the bowlers in the second innings, but now, with the change of ball rule, it might not be a major issue. The game will be intriguing to watch as both teams have some of the best players in the league. If RR manage to score anything above 210+, it will be tough for the Ajinkya Rahane-led side.
KKR have a good top-order who proved their worth in the first game, but the middle order failed to convert the momentum. Hence, this game will be important for them to perform and take the game home.
