[WATCH] IPL 2025: Virat Kohli shares heartfelt hug with Rahul Dravid ahead of RR vs RCB clash

Virat Kohli and Rahul Dravid shared a heartful moment ahead of the match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2025 in Jaipur on April 13. Coach Dravid entered the pitch on his wheelchair, as he oversaw the players were going about their training.

Meanwhile, Kohli rushed towards the former India coach and embraced him warmly. Rajasthan Royals' official handle took to X, Instagram, and other social media platforms and posted the video of Dravid and Kohli's heartwarming meeting.

What followed seemed to be a funny conversation between the duo as RCB batter said something with Dravid and Sanju Samson having a hearty laugh. 

Jaipur to host its first match of the IPL 2025

RR and RCB will take on each other in the 28th match of the IPL 2025 with multiple star players like Kohli, Samson, Rajat Patidar, Josh Hazlewood, Jofra Archer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar amongst others set to be in action. Meanwhile, this will be the first match of the season at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

Both RR and RCB have had a mixed season so far. While RR are placed seventh with two wins and three losses, RCB are fourth with three wins and two losses in their five matches so far.

In their previous match, RCB lost to DC at their home. They will hope to return to winning ways by beating RR away from home. As for RR, they lost to Gujarat Titans.
