Rajasthan Royals (RR) star opener Yashasvi Jaiswal squashed the differences between him and Mitchell Starc after the Match 32 of IPL 2025. During the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, the duo engaged in an altercation where the batter had said that Starc's deliveries were coming too slow for him, which soon became a topic of discussion, sold like hot cakes in the media.
With their face-off in the match between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals in the IPL, a similar row of sledging and giving it back to the opposition was expected. However, the left-handed duo was seen engaging in a fun, appreciative chat after the thrilling match came to an end. Jaiswal was spotted lauding Starc for his perfect execution with the ball against his Rajasthan Royals side.

Jaiswal and Starc’s BGT battle
The five-match Test series against Australia started from the first game that took place at Perth's Optus Stadium. There was a heated argument between the two players where Starc was taunting the young 23-year-old with bouncers, to which Jaiswal made a viral remark on Starc saying that his ball is coming too slow.
“You’re coming too slow,” the batter had passed a remark on the pacer during the first Test.
Speaking of the BGT 2024-25, Jaiswal was the top run getter for the Indian team with 391 runs at an average of 43.44. Starc also had a decent series where he took 18 wickets at an average of 28.66 in the five games he played in the series at home. Notably, Australia had won the series 3-1, which also confirmed them a berth in the World Test Championship finale against South Africa, which will be played in June this year at the Lord's Cricket Ground, in London.
