Jasprit Bumrah has been the standout player for team India in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. His crucial performance with the ball is one amongst the few things that have gone India's way in the challenging tour so far. The right-arm pacer was at his best in the fifth Test picking two wickets in the first innings.

But on Day 2, Bumrah came out to bowl after the Lunch and as soon as he finished the over, he was seen leaving the field. Soon, some clips of him leaving the stadiumbecame a point of concern, espcially as India struggled again in the second innings. But just before the end of final session, the veteran was back in the Indian dressing room as fans let out a sigh of relief.

Here’s Bumrah getting back in dressing room:

They're all fired up, and it's great to see: Manjrekar

Bumrah has had a memorable outing in Australia. The star India pacer currently has 32 wickets in nine innings at an average of 13.06. He is followed by Pat Cummins, who is miles behind with 23 wickets to his name.

As Rohit Sharma has stepped down ahead of the the final Test owing to his poor returns, Bumrah was at his aggressive best while leading the side. Former India cricketer, Sanjay Manjrekar, was mighty impressed with Indian team’s enthusiasm on the field.

“Yeah, they're all fired up, and it's great to see, right at the end of a long series, this kind of emotion. I mean, Bumrah has been phenomenal, and 'great' doesn't seem to be enough to describe his performance as a bowler,” said Manjrekar as quoted by India Today.
