Jemimah Rodrigues joined a group of fans and jammed to the popular Bollywood song - 'Mere Sapno Ki Rani' after India's comprehensive win against the UAE in the Women's Asia Cup 2024 on Sunday, July 21.

Rodrigues is one of the most likeable personalities in women's cricket because she shares excellent camaraderie with her teammates and always shows generosity towards her fans. Her fun-loving demeanour also helps her connect seamlessly with the fans. Rodrigues' fondness for singing and dancing is well-known, as she has previously wowed the cricket fraternity with her talents.

After India's resounding 78-run win against the UAE at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla, the right-handed batter engaged in an impromptu jamming session with some young fans. The video of this heart-warming incident has received a lot of love from the fans on social media, as people have lauded the Indian batter for her down-to-earth personality.

India on brink of qualifying for semis in Women's Asia Cup 2024

The Women in Blue started their journey in the Women's Asia Cup 2024 with a comprehensive seven-wicket win against arch-rivals Pakistan. Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. chased down a paltry 109-run target with 35 balls to spare and Deepti Sharma won the Player of the Match award for registering excellent bowling figures of 3/20 in four overs.

Meanwhile, against the UAE, the seven-time champions registered their first-ever 200-plus total in the shortest format of the game. Harmanpreet and Richa Ghosh smashed blistering half-centuries to take their team to 201/5 in their 20 overs. In reply, the UAE could only manage 123/7. Richa was adjudged Player of the Match for her scintillating knock of 64* off 29 balls.

India are on the brink of securing a spot in the semifinals after winning two games in a row. Their final group-stage encounter is against Nepal on Tuesday, July 23, in Dambulla.
