Watch: Kamran Ghulam swears at Kagiso Rabada, Kyle Verreynne during Day 1 of Centurion Test
The incident occurred during the 31st over of Pakistan's first innings.
Day 1 of the first Test between South Africa and Pakistan has not been short of riveting on-field moments. The series opener is being played at SuperSport Park in Centurion.
Kamran Ghulam, playing just his third Test, was engaged in a tense moment - first with bowler Kagiso Rabada and then South Africa wicketkeeper-batter, Kyle Verreynne. The incident occurred during the 31st over of the innings. Ghulam pulled out at the last moment due to some disturbance behind the bowler's arm. Rabada, wicketless and having started his 11th over, was not pleased with Ghulam retreating at the last moment.
However, Ghulam was not pleased with Rabada's retort, which was not picked up by the stump-mic. However, the swear words Ghulam uttered were captured quite well. Nodding his head while looking at Rabada, Ghulam used the swear words against the bowler. Verreynne, in a bid to diffuse Ghulam's temper, came up to him to clarify the situation at hand, pointing towards the sight screen. However, Ghulam was heard repeating the same words to Verreynne, who looked bemused while walking back to his original spot.

Paterson, Bosch share nine wickets as hosts establish upper hand
Pakistan were blown apart by an amazing fast-bowling performance by Dane Paterson and Test debutant, Corbin Bosch, who picked up five and four wickets, respectively. Apart from Ghulam who impressed with a half-century, none of the other batters notched up a score exceeding 30 as the visitors were bowled out for 211.
At the time of writing, South Africa have lost a couple of wickets in the form of Tony de Zorzi and Ryan Rickelton. However, considering the overall scheme of proceedings, they seem to be in decent control as they aim to equal Pakistan's tally before forging a lead.
