Watch: Kuldeep Yadav accurately predicts Euro 2024 Final scoreline

Star India spinner Kuldeep Yadav was in attendance for the summit clash of the Euro 2024 between Spain and England. The clash took place at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany, and known for being a huge football fan, Kuldeep Yadav came forward and went viral for accurately predicting the scoreline of the final.

It is worth noting that Kuldeep is a huge football aficionado. The star spinner met up with David Beckham on the sidelines of the ODI World Cup 2023 semi-finals against New Zealand in India as well.

The broadcasters caught up with Kuldeep for a pitchside chat before the start of the final. In the same chat, Kuldeep was asked to predict the scoreline. The 29-year-old went on to say that Spain would win the clash by 2-1, which was exactly what happened. 

“Both teams are playing really well at the moment. Spain has been really well throughout this tournament. If they play like that, the way they played all the games, I'm sure they can easily pass through England. But, the final is always tough (to predict), but I am supporting Spain and I think they will go past England and win 2-1,” Kuldeep said ahead of the match on Sony Sports Network.

Spain is too good: Kuldeep

The prediction of Kuldeep Yadav proved to be correct, as Spain defeated England in the summit clash of Euro 2024 by exact predicted margin of 2-1. Nico Williams opened the scoring for the side, with England’s Cole Palmer keeping them in the game with a goal in the 73rd minute. However, Mikel Oyarbazal helped Spain get the lead with a goal in the 86th minute, as Spain won the clash and the title. 

After the game, Kuldeep Yadav took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to give his take on the game. “Spain is too good, playing high up the pitch, switching flanks so smoothly. Mid, wingers treat to watch true football,” the UP-born wrote.
