Nepal emerged victorious against the Netherlands in the fifth clash of the ongoing tri-series, which also featured Namibia. Nepal and the Netherlands will play at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Saturday, March 2.

As part of registering a brilliant victory, one of the biggest highlights of the game came in the first innings of the clash. In the 19th over of the Netherlands’ innings, it was the brilliant fielding effort of Kushal Bhurtel that stopped a guaranteed six and converted the moment into a wicket.

The Netherlands' Roelof van der Merwe played a shot towards long-on; the shot looked to be clearing the boundary. However, Bhurtel made a sensational jump to stop the ball and threw it at the wicketkeeper, which resulted in Kingma’s dismissal for just four runs.

The clip of Bhurtel’s fielding prowess has been doing the rounds in the social media domain, as the Nepal star has quickly gone viral on several platforms.
