Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer Prince Yadav grabbed headlines after his impressive performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL). A video of him bowling with a tennis ball from his early cricketing days surfaced online, showcasing his journey from local tournaments to the grand stage of the IPL. The video went viral on X, receiving thousands of likes.
The right-arm pacer was signed by LSG at his base price of INR 30 lakh following his standout performances in domestic cricket. The Uttar Pradesh-born was the leading wicket-taker for Delhi in the 2024-25 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, picking up 11 wickets and helping them reach the semifinals.

With LSG facing multiple injury concerns ahead of IPL 2025, the 27-year-old got his opportunity to debut in their opening match against Delhi Capitals (DC) in Visakhapatnam. However, he had a tough outing, conceding 47 runs in his spell.
