The commentators are a great addition to the sport as they give the audience a minute-by-minute analysis of the proceedings. A plethora of entertaining moments have occurred in the commentary boxes which have stayed in the minds of sports fanatics for a long time.

The most recent dose of entertainment came during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy where Australia women's team skipper Alyssa Healy was commentating while his spouse Mitchell Starc was playing in the five-match series. Healy had fun as she took some notorious jibes at her husband's golfing skills.

In a perfect comeback, Starc was in the commentary box during the second ODI of the Women’s Ashes at Melbourne's Junction Oval on January 14. Healy, who was leading the side, gave a great start to the innings as she scored 29 of just 19 deliveries, striking over 150 and hitting six boundaries. However, she edged a delivery to wicketkeeper Amy Jones off the bowling of Lauren Bell in the ninth over to bring her innings to an end. Interestingly, it was Starc who made the call as his better half walked back to the pavilion.

Speaking of the match, despite getting bowled out for just 180, Australian bowlers made sure they got the better of the England, restricting them to 159 in 48.1 overs to win the game by 21 runs. Aussie leg spinner Alana King starred with the ball, taking four wickets for just 25 runs in her full quota to be adjudged the Player of the Match. She was well assisted by pacer Kim Garth, who returned with figures of 3/37.

Notably, the hosts had won the first ODI of the series by four wickets and lead 2-0. The third ODI of the series will be played in Hobart on January 17.
