Pakistan took on West Indies in the second Test at the Multan Cricket Stadium on January 25. After winning the toss, West Indies opted to bat first. The decision proved to be disastrous as the Pakistan bowlers wreaked havoc. The collapse was started by debutant, Kashif Ali, who claimed his maiden wicket at international stage. He did so by dismissing Mikyle Louis for just four runs.

Kashif was bowling his first over in international cricket. He bowled a length delivery with a wobble seam and the deck supported him with some movement. Louise went towards it to defend before the ball took a faint edge and travel towards Mohammad Rizwan. The star wicketkeeper stretched his hands forward and finished the catch with a side-on cartwheel.

As long as we get 20 wickets, and we're able to put good performance: Shan Masood

The day became a forgettable on for the tourists as they were decimated by the Pakistan spin trio, Noman Ali, Sajid Khan and Abrar Ahmed. At the end of the 20th over, they were 68/8 with Noman claiming four wickets, followed by Sajidโ€™s two and Abrarโ€™s one scalp. It is worth noting that, Pakistan lead the series by 1-0, and it was the same spin, which has constantly become instrumental in their home victories.

โ€œAs long as we get 20 wickets, and we're able to put good performance, we'll be happy (with the pitches). It also helped with us adding Abrar as well. He bowled well along with Sajid and Noman. We didn't know if it was going to turn from ball one in this weather. We were quite surprised. A day before the game we spoke that once a batter gets in, they have to go big,โ€ Pakistan skipper Shan Masood had said after the win in the first Test.
