Mohammed Siraj made an epic entry into the training camp of Gujarat Titans on Tuesday, March 11. Accompanied by a staff member who was the pillion rider, Siraj was at the helm of a scooter as he entered the training ground in some style.

Sporting his usual chiselled beard and stylish shades, he warmly greeted some of his teammates present there including the likes of Prasidh Krishna and Jayant Yadav, to name a few. The end of the clip posted by GT's official X account showed the right-arm quick being embraced by former Indian cricketer and head coach of the franchise, Ashish Nehra.

This will be the first season in which Siraj will be representing GT. He started off his IPL career with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2017, before playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru for seven seasons. He was not part of RCB's plans for IPL 2025, and was released. After RCB did not decide to use their Right to Match card on him, he was acquired by the 2022 champions for a fee of INR 12.25 crore.

Siraj did not make it to the 15-member Indian squad for the recently-concluded Champions Trohy. Instead, he was named as one of the non-travelling reserves. This development might have come as a severe disappointment to the Hyderabadi pacer who might have expected to lead the pace-bowling attack alongside Mohammed Shami.

GT's opening game of the upcoming season will be a home fixture against Punjab Kings. The Shubman Gill-led side will be eager to get the season started on a positive note. They finished eighth in the 10-team tournament last season, winning only five out of the 12 complete games played (excluding two washed out matches).
