The second Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 was dominated by Australia. The Aussies took on India in the second match at the Adelaide Oval, and in what was a pink-ball Test match, the hosts managed to register a thumping 10-wicket victory and level the series.

The Adelaide clash will be remembered for several things; however, one of the most talked-about moments from the game has been the aggression of India pacer Mohammed Siraj. Australia’s Travis Head was exceptional for his side in the first innings of the game. Head amassed 140 runs before he was sent packing by Mohammed Siraj. However, in doing so, both Head and Siraj were seen getting into an altercation and an exchange of words.

However, despite the argument, both players seem to have made amends, as Siraj was seen hugging Head after Australia had won the game.

Australia pull off dominant Adelaide Test win

Speaking of the second Test between Australia and India, the game saw the Aussies put in an exceptional performance throughout the game. After India were limited to a score of 180 runs in the first innings, Australia managed to put in an exceptional performance with the bat, scoring 337 runs in the first innings, thanks to a brilliant century by Travis Head.

Furthermore, Australia were one step ahead of India in the second innings as well. Nitish Kumar Reddy was the highest run getter in the second innings with 42 runs to his name, as India were limited to a score of 175 runs, giving Australia a target of just 19 runs to chase down and win the game.

Doing so with ease, Australia managed to level the series, and both sides will now have all to play for in the third Test of the series. Australia and India will lock horns in the third Test at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba, Brisbane from December 14.
