Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legendary batter, MS Dhoni, received a warm welcome from fans in Guwahati ahead of their match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL 2025 on Sunday, March 30. Both teams will play their third match of the season. While CSK have a win and two points under their belt after beating MI in the first match, RR have lost both their games so far.
The official account of the IPL shared the video on social media, showing Dhoni's entry through the airport and into the city. The video went viral within minutes of posting.

Meanwhile, CSK will enter this upcoming contest with a loss against RCB in their previous game by 50 runs. It was a heartbreaking moment for the Yellow Army as their years-long streak of not losing a match to the Bengaluru boys at the Chepauk Stadium was broken. It was a historic win by RCB as they breached CSK's fortress after 17 years.
It was a huge achievement for RCB as they beat the Men in Yellow by a big margin, something which many teams have not achieved much over the years. Without getting much time to recover from the loss, the Chennai-based team will have to play against RR on Sunday.
The match is scheduled at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati, which is RR's home ground. Captain Riyan Parag will look to change his team's fate by registering their first win of the season.
