Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma interacted with Lucknow Super Giants mentor Zaheer Khan ahead of MI's match against LSG in the IPL 2025. Rohit spoke with former India fast bowler before Rishabh Pant hugged him from behind. What Rohit said to Zaheer has received a lot of interest from the fans.

In the video posted by Mumbai Indians on social media platforms, Rohit spoke with Zaheer in Hindi. "Jab karna tha maine kiya barabar se, mujhe ab kuch karne ki zaroorat nahi hai (Whatever had to be done, I did it properly, now I don't need to do anything)," said Rohit. While many felt Rohit casually spoke with Zaheer about something that had everything to do with themselves, others felt the former MI skipper was talking about his batting form and contributions in the ongoing IPL 2025 season for his team so far. Many asked Rohit to return to form and help the team's cause.

Rohit Sharma's poor form in the IPL 2025 so far

The right-handed batter hasn't had the best of times with the bat in the ongoing season so far. In fact, the India ODI skipper hasn't been at his best in the IPL for a very long time. In the 18th edition of the league, the MI batter has 21 runs in three innings at a batting average of 7.00 at a batting strike rate of 105.00.

In the first match against the arch-rivals CSK, Rohit bagged a four-ball duck, as Khaleel Ahmed dismissed him. Sharma opened the account in the following game against the Gujarat Titans by scoring eight runs in four balls. Mohammed Siraj bowled a peach of a delivery to dismiss him.

Against KKR, the star batter scored 13 runs in 12 balls before getting dismissed by Andre Russell. He will have a chance to redeem himself by returning to form in the upcoming match against LSG, which will take place at the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Friday, April 4.
