Cricket's star power couple Virat Kohli and his wife and the renowned actress, Anushka Sharma, went out for a brunch date recently. The couple visited Benne Cafe, which is situated in Mumbai's Bandra region. Both of them not only made a surprise visit but the moment hit the headlines for what followed next.

Notably, the cafe's gesture while clicking pictures with Kohli and Anushka became the buzz of the tinsel town. It was revealed that an employee named, Dinesh, was on leave, which meant that the big occasion of having a dream photo-snapping moment got missed. As a result, he was quite sad for not being around his workplace on Thursday. However, what followed next left the fans in splits. The cafe came up with a quirky idea of photoshopping one of the images to make up for Dinesh's absence. For the unversed, Kohli turned 36 years old on November 5, 2024, and hence the couple quietly decided to celebrate his birthday by going out on a date.

Both Kohli and Anushka have been away from the limelight by spending most of their time in London with their kids. Hence the move took everyone by surprise. As Team India are to clash with Australia in their den, Kohli has been away from the field and having a quality time with family. The images released depict that Virat Kohli had donned a white t-shirt along with a cap while Anushka Sharma wore Khakis for the cosy date.
