Khulna Tigers' pacer Oshane Thomas conceded 15 runs off just one ball against Chittagong Kings In the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024-25.
Batting first, the Tigers posted 203/4 thanks to a brilliant 50-ball 75 from William Bosisto. In the chase, Kings had a surprising start to their innings as Thomas register an unwanted record. On the very first delivery of the over, Thomas bowled a fuller length delivery, resulting in a simple catch by the fielder in the 30-yard circle.
However, it was ruled as a no-ball, sending the batter back to the crease for a free-hit. The pacer followed up with a dot ball, only to be hit for a six on the second delivery. That too, however, was a no-ball, which gave Naeem Islam another free-hit. Thomas, struggling with his line and length, then bowled two wide balls in quick succession.
The things became bad to worse as on the next no-ball as the batter smashed a four. By the time the third ball was bowled, 15 runs had already been put on the board, all conceded off a single ball. Thomas' over read nb, 0, 6nb, wide, wide, and 4nb before he finally managed to send down a legal delivery.
The West Indian, however, came back strong, giving just three more runs in the next five deliveries including the wicket of Islam.

However, Khulna captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who was clearly frustrated with the four no-balls, opted not to bring Thomas back into the attack for the remainder of the match. The Tigers eventually won the game 37 runs, with the Kings finishing at 166/10.
